Sunday, September 14, 2008 Last night Hui Khim, Jeremy, Thiam Yeow and me went to surprise Tong How over at his house. As I was with him from noon onwards, I didn't join in the "hiding" in his house. I only manage to witness the "surprise" which we had planned for him. Hui Khim, Jeremy and Thiam Yeow hide in his room before we reached his house to surprise him when he reached home. This was planned in advance with his sister and mother. *LoLx* Passed him the little photo frame filled with photos and personally pen-down messages from all his close friends and a few essential items for him to bring into army this afternoon. I'm glad that for once again I did manage to surprise him again and makes him feel touched. *wiNkZ* If not all these while he is the one who always giving me surprises nehz. Somehow can consider as my way of saying "Thank you" to him bahz. (^_~) Today went to send Tong How off for his enlistment at Tekong. Went off from his house together with Jason, him and his parents at around 10.30am and headed down to Pasir Ris for breakfast and meetup with Jeremy. Took shuttle service to Ferry Terminal and took Ferry to Tekong. Then the usual procedures... Touring around the company which Tong How is enlisted to. Visits to his bunk... Listen to the arrangements which they had planned for the new enlistees... The pledging ceremony and then dine together with Tong How and he is off to gather for his start of the next 2 years of process of changing from boy to man.
